Island Learning Grenada is a registered business under the Cultural and Creative industries in Grenada. Island Learning Grenada offers webinar sessions on Grenada's history, heritage and culture. The webinar sessions are suitable for adults (local in Grenada and in the Diaspora) and anyone intersted in learning more about the uniqueness and richness of Grenada's history, heritage and culture.
The sessions are delivered online via Zoom. Each session is 2 hours in length. You can choose to complete only ONE session or all FOUR sessions. The topics covered in the sessions are:
- The Grenada revolution
- The Fedon's rebellion
- African and indigenous culture and heritage
- Journey to Independence
Other topics can be covered upon request.
The sessions are taught by Ms. Christell Simeon (Bsc, MPA,CCT) who is Grenadian born and raised, and a trained and experienced facilitator. Christell has over 10 years of experience in facilitation and previously worked in the education system for 8 years as a secondary school (high school) teacher. Furthermore, Christell is a Corporate Certified Trainer (CCT) from Canada where resided for 10 years.
