The Hawaii Pacific Gerontological Society (HPGS) raises funds and awards scholarships to college students interested in careers involving aging and older people.
To be eligible for a scholarship, students must meet ALL of the following criteria: (a) Be enrolled in a degree program at any UH campus, HPU, BYU- Hawaii, or Chaminade at the undergraduate or graduate level; (b) Have two or more semesters to complete before graduation; and (c) Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The application form below will require you to describe relevant coursework, volunteer/paid work, your career interests, and financial need. You will also be asked to upload a scanned copy of your transcript and a scanned letter of recommendation from a professor, supervisor, etc. Please have these items ready before starting the application.
