Please read through and complete all information before submitting your contract.
  • Parent/Teacher Contract

Please read and discuss this contract with your spouse prior to having them sign the parent/teacher contract.
  • I acknowledge that I am making a serious commitment to SALT; once this contract has been signed, I am committed from this date through the end of the 2023-2024 school year.  If I decide that co-op is not in the best interest of my family, I will fulfill my duties for the duration of the year.  I am aware that I will be required to pay the withdrawal fee of $300.00 if I break this binding agreement.

I agree to do my best to fulfill with excellence and joy the following responsibilities:

    • I will strive to have no more than 3 absences for the entire year. Understanding that attendance is vital and unexpected absences may occur, I will limit planned absences to only one.
    • I will strive to be prompt for chapel in order to participate in devotions and be present for important announcements.
    • I will lead teach the required number of classes, serve as a substitute when necessary, and assist in other areas throughout the day as needed.
    • I will help with set-up and clean-up as necessary.
    • I will purchase all the required books and materials for my child/children’s classes prior to the first day of school.
    • I will pay SALT fees as required.
    • I will do my best to ensure that my children are prepared for their classes.
    • If I have ideas for improving SALT, I will readily share them with a board member.  If I have a problem or concern, I will follow the Biblical guidelines of communication (Matthew 18:15-16) and refrain from gossip.
    • Yearly membership renewals must be approved by the board.
    • I agree to follow the guidelines set forth by SALT.

My electronic signature below confirms my complete understanding and agreement with this contract.  As a fellow believer, I will commit to pray for a successful co-op year.

  • Student Contract

Please read and discuss this contract with your children prior to having them sign the student contract.
  • I understand that I am to be prompt to class, and expected to bring all required class materials with me. I will do my best to complete assignments in a timely fashion, and come prepared to participate in the class.

  • I understand that while there is no uniform dress code, I am to dress in a modest way that honors God. While styles and fashions vary, I will choose appropriate clothing to wear that will not cause others to stumble (Romans 14:21).

  • Students are not allowed to use cellphones while at co-op other than during lunch. Students may use laptops only if required for a class or used during a study hall. Parental and board permissions are required.

  • Cheating is not tolerated at SALT. Forms of cheating consist of: sharing answers, referring to curriculum answer keys, plagiarism, and/or using unapproved online resources to find answers. A student that cheats on an assignment will receive a zero and will be brought to the board for disciplinary action. Cheating may result in expulsion.

  • As a student of SALT, I understand that I am to have a Christ-like attitude. I am expected to show respect to my teachers such as being attentive and obedient, using positive speech, working without murmuring or complaining, and more. I am expected to show respect to my peers by being kind, keeping my hands to myself, talking only at appropriate times, and the like.

  • If I demonstrate a lack of respect or break any of the rules, I should expect to be approached by a SALT board member.  If this behavior continues, I will need to meet with the Pastor over HERF ministries concerning the situation. If the problem persists, I may be asked to leave SALT temporarily (1-2 weeks) or permanently to enable my peers and teachers to accomplish the goals and tasks laid out for the class.

By electronically signing below I agree to this contract and am willing to comply.

  • SALT STATEMENT of FAITH

Please review our Statement of Faith below.
  • We believe the Bible is the written Word of God and it is infallible, inerrant, and authoritative in matters of faith and practice.

We believe in the Trinity of God; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are co-equal in their nature and attributes.

We believe in the virgin birth, the perfect life, the vicarious death, the bodily resurrection, and visible return of Jesus Christ.

We believe salvation is by grace through faith, nothing more, nothing less.

We believe in the eternal security and preservation of the saved.

We believe the Church is a local autonomous body of baptized believers covenanted together to carry out the commands of Christ.

We believe these two ordinances: Baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper to commemorate His sacrifice for us.

We believe that born-again believers should live holy and dedicated lives unto the Lord.

We believe in a Heaven for the saved and a Hell for the lost.

We believe in the pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ.
