Our cakes and treats are made by two sisters with love, dedication and commitment and therefore are delicate by nature. We do our best to prepare and support your cake for transport. In order to ensure you enjoy your purchase in perfect condition, we have prepared the following information for you. Once the order is picked up by you or your designated party, the order is considered accepted and all responsibility belongs to the customer.
Cake Care
- Pickup and carry the cake box from the bottom only.
- Keep cake leveled at all times including refrigeration and during transport. Try to avoid bumpy roads and slamming on the brakes.
- Transport cake in an air-conditioned vehicle away from loose objects.
- Store cake in the box in a refrigerator as soon as possible.
- Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat when not in fridge.
- Take the cake out of the fridge 1 hour before serving.
- All cakes and cupcakes taste at their best if eaten at room temperature.
- Use a sturdy cake stand at least an inch larger than the cake board.
- Remove any candles, decorations and cake dowels before slicing your cake.
- Layered cakes are best sliced with a large plain edged kitchen knife, avoid using a butter knife or cake slice lifter. (examples on how to cut a cake posted under highlights on our IG page.)
- Store leftover cake or cupcakes in the fridge in an airtight container.
