About

A Different Reading is an initiative by THEBOOKSHOW that brings together 9 young creatives (Woong Soak Teng, Catherine Hu, Lin Shiau Yu, Macarius Eng, Azelia Ng, Ming, Marvin Tang, Hong Shu-ying and Gwendolyn Say) under the mentorship of local designer Hanson Ho (H55) and artist Ang Song Nian. Through this collaboration, A Different Reading serves to open up new dialogues and synergies between young creatives of varied background, training and knowledge through the process of creating a new artist book. In these two talks, each pair of artist and designer be sharing more on their thought processes and approach in their collaborative creation of their artist book.

This programme has two sessions. Both sessions feature different speakers.
