• School Strike for Climate Permission Slip

  • To parents and/or legal guardians,

    Our dedicated Youth Team at BMWHRC have received requests from clients to facilitate a trip to the School Strike for Climate Rally in Sydney on Friday, March 25th 2022.

    The issue of climate change is one we believe is worthy of our energy and attention so we've organised transportation and chaperones for a group of young people to attend the rally this Friday. *Students will be marked absent from school*

    Attendees to meet at 9:45am, Blue Mountains Women's Health & Resource Centre 124

    Lurline Street, Katoomba for bus departure at 10:00am sharp

    Rally starting at 12:30pm at the Prime ministers residence, 109 Kiribilli Avenue, Kiribilli. Bring face masks, water bottle, cash/card/smartphone for any purchases, sun/rain protection.

    Attendees are expected to return with staff by bus to the centre unless other

    arrangements are agreed to in writing with additional guardian permission.

    Please complete additional return permission slip if you won't be travelling back

  • Pick up: Attendees will be returned to the Centre by 6:00pm at the latest for collection. These times are subject to traffic conditions.

    Blue Mountains Women's Health & Resource Centre has organised transportation and chaperones for a group of young people to attend the School Strike for Climate Rally in Sydney on Friday, March 25th 2022.

    Attendees will be travelling by bus from Katoomba to Kiribilli for the rally and then expected to return with staff unless other arrangments have been made with parents/ guardians.

    If you have made alternate arrangements with an attendee for return from the Rally please outline them and sign below.

    Details of alternate return arrangements:

  • Upon signing this document you agree that The Blue Mountains Women's Health & Resource Centre will relinquish responsibility of the attendee once the Rally has ended at 2.30pm 25/03/2022 & this individual will be released from our care.

    The Blue Mountains Women's Health & Resource Centre cannot be held responsible for any circumstances arising beyond the exit point. Any attendees will be solely responsible for arranging their own transportation back home and will need to coordinate closely with parents/guardians on the day to ensure all safety measures are in place.
