    Spring, Feb. 28th  |  Summer, April 30th | Fall, July 31st  | Winter, October 31st

     

    All programs must be free and open to the public. GDPI requires each program series to include at least 4 sessions, with a focus on building lasting relationships with the park community. Anything that doesn’t meet these guidelines is considered an "event" and must go through our Park Rentals process.

  • GDPI will market programs on our website, Instagram, and Facebook platforms. Marketing efforts include: 

    Website

    • Program highlight on our “Things to Do” web page 
    • Category-specific blog post, updated seasonally (Wellness, Kids' Klub, etc.)
    • Each activation included on our website calendar 

    Social Media 

    • Facebook event page for each program that includes all activation dates, with you invited on as a co-host (Please do not create your own Facebook event)
    • Weekly “This Week in the parks” highlight on Facebook (post) and Instagram (story)
    • Seasonal offerings post for each program category on IG and Facebook 
    • Occasional one-off photo, video, and/or graphic posts highlighting your specific program 

    Monthly Newsletter

    • Program highlight section of each newsletter, where periodically you’ll get a specific shout-out

    Miscellaneous 

    • Potential professional photography opportunity from Jen Scheib of Scheib Creative, our resident photographer 
    • Phone & DSLR- captured images and video footage from Community Engagement Coordinator
    • Promotion on various Community Calendars (DGI, News & Record, ACGG)
    • Program category-specific offering highlight on 12 downtown Smart Kiosks 

     

    Partners are additionally welcome to promote the program on their own platforms.

    I hereby agree and give my permission for Greensboro Downtown Parks, Inc., and/or partners to record, film, photograph, audiotape or videotape myself (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Works”) and to display, publish or distribute these Works for the purpose of publishing, posting on the Greensboro Downtown Parks website and posting on social media sites. I hereby waive any right to approve the use of these Works now or in the future, whether the use is known to me or unknown, and I waive any right to any royalties related to the use of these Works.   • Greensboro Downtown Parks, Inc. (GDPI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in partnership with the City of Greensboro and serves as the executive management of LeBauer Park and Center City Park, two active and inviting landscapes in the heart of downtown.

    The mission of GDPI is to serve as the executive management of Greensboro’s downtown parks, focusing on public activation, maintenance, financial well-being and overall vitality. Bringing over 200,000 annual visitors downtown, the parks host hundreds of programs and events each year.
