Eligibility
1. Must be a high school female for the 2024-2025 academic year.
2. Cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better based on a 4.0 grading scale (verified by official transcript). Transcripts should be submitted in a sealed envelope with your school’s seal.
3. Demonstrate interest and involvement in public service and community related activities.
4. Demonstrate goals, aspirations, and plans to pursue an education beyond high school.
5. Evidence of good moral character, which includes but not limited to:
A. No record of poor discipline at school or in the community
B. No criminal, misdemeanor, or court record of any kind
C. Must not have previous or current employment in places of adult entertainment.
6. Must be able to commit to attending all necessary rehearsals and activities that occur throughout the Cotillion Season.
7. Sign along with parent(s) or legal guardian, the Jabberwock Statement of Commitment and Responsibilities.
8. Wear required formal attire for the Jabberwock Gala and appropriate attire to other sponsored events.
9. Attend a minimum of 85% of the related functions and activities held. If you are unable to attend at least 85% of activities held, you may not be allowed to participate in the Jabberwock Cotillion event.
10. Raise a minimum of $500 to be eligible for participation in the Jabberwock Gala. Each participant will be assigned a mentor of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated who will partner to work with in forming fundraising ideas and to execute fundraising events.
11. If you are currently pregnant or become pregnant during the Cotillion season you will become ineligible and not allowed to continue participating in all remaining Cotillion activities and Cotillion presentation
