Subjects’ data will be processed with the purpose of managing the organization and coordination of the summit. All provided personal data will be kept as long as is it necessary to fulfil statutory requirements and contractual obligations, according to the legislation and as per current regulations in effect. The legal foundation of the subjects’ data processing is the implementation of contractual measures and the legitimate interest of this entity.
Interested subjects are hereby informed that upon processing and using their personal data, EFB is entitled to disclose such information to the rest of collaborating entities, exclusively with the aim of fulfilling the goals related to the organization and management of the aforementioned event. With the subjects’ consent, such entities may send them electronic communications and updates regarding their activity.

Likewise, and with the subjects’ authorization, EFB will process personal data related to e‑mail and phone number with the purpose of keeping them updated on EFB activities aimed at their partners and at local family businesses’ associations linked to it.
The user providing such data is responsible for their authenticity and accuracy, EFB disclaiming any liability in such regard.
Furthermore, and as per the regulations on image rights which are set forth in Article 18.1 of the Spanish Constitution and regulated by the Organic Law 1/1982 of 5 May on the right to honour, personal and family privacy and self-image, we hereby inform interested subjects that EFB may take pictures of the event and their attendants, and may process and disclose such images in several formats and applications, wholly or partially, with no commercial benefit involved and solely for the purpose of publicizing the development and the contents of the congress, as well as for advertising upcoming events.
In accordance with the above, EFB may use the photographs and videos taken during the 8h European Family Business Summit to create and audio-visual and/or graphic document, wholly or partially resourced with contents from the Congress, to promote its upcoming editions as well as other EFB activities. Such a document may be disclosed freely and without limitation, and may be implemented in EFB’s website, the access to which is free and open, EFB obtaining no commercial benefit from such disclosure. The document will go on to become a part of EFB’s history archive.
Furthermore, EFB informs interested subjects that the event may be open, either in whole or in part, to the media.
In view of all of the above, and in accordance with the actions set forth herein, by attending the event the attendants grant their authorization to process their image rights for the aforementioned and legitimate organizational purposes, the interested subjects being entitled to oppose any modality of such data processing by exerting the rights that are detailed in the following paragraph.
