Backpack Participation Form 2022

Thank you for your interest in filling backpacks for Camp David campers!!

Backpack Participation: This can be on an indiviudal or group level.

Individual: Pick up several bags from your church or local distribution center (if you want to fill 10 bags or more we will ship the bags to you). After filling the bags, deliver them to Cross Wind Camp and Conference Center or the church/distribution center that you got them from.

Group: You can be the group coordinator for your church or business for the backpack project. You can pick up the the backpack bags from Cross Wind Camp or if you want 10 or more we will ship the backpack bags to you.

Camp David will provide the kits for filling backpacks.

Deadline for bags to be returned to the camp or distribution center is June 1st.

Backpack Notes: Churches/groups are encouraged to make MAY your backpack month- setting up a table with the bags and instructions for people to take home in early May. Give participants two weeks to fill the bags and return them, and then bring/mail the bags back to us.

Backpack items need to be new and the coordinator should be sure that each bag is filled correctly. It is important to fill out the small form in the Birthday gift envelope so Camp David can send a "Thank you note" from the camper and a tax donation receipt to each person. Filled bags should be returned to the church by May 10th, so the coordinator can get them back to camp before June 1st. Thank you so much for being part of giving hope!!
