This is a full day (0830–1530) face to face course. All new theory content and presentation followed by a pool practical.
Gear required
Swim goggles (not a dive mask), surf wetsuit plus swimmers or boardies (If you are not a strong swimmer we suggest you bring body board or similar style rubber swim fins).
NOTE: Although most pool water is around 27 °C students can expect to be in the water for the entire 2–3 hours. The body cools dramatically during static breath holds so thermal protection is highly recommended for the first stages of the water session.
Prerequisite
Ability to swim 100 m unassisted (rubber body board / swim fins can be worn if required). Participants must be at least 18 years old (15–17 year olds may attend but must be in company of and supervised by a responsible adult (18+), who must also register and undertake the training.
Once you've registered you will be provided booking confirmation details with course details with a medical questionnaire. Remember to add the event to your calendar so you don't forget.
If you have any further questions please contact us at info@apneasurvival.com.au.
As we cap attendance numbers for our events we do not offer refunds for adhoc no shows or non‑medical cancellations less than 14 days out from the event date. If you have any queries regarding our refund policy please contact us.
