Destiny's Elite Girls, Inc. (DEGI) is a scholarship program designed to mentor and support young women during their first year of college. The program aims to inspire, to encourage, and to empower our next generation of women as they transition from high school into adulthood with a sense of self-awareness of their faith (spirit, mind, soul, and body), propelling them into their Destinies.
- If you are selected as one of the scholarship finalists, you will be asked to participate in an anthology book project and mentorship program during your first year of college. You will also be expected to participate in varying projects throughout the year. This program is also curriculum-based, whereas DEGI will meet quarterly, either in person or via Zoom.
- Winners will be announced at our brunch. Winners will be awarded monetary gifts ranging from $1,0000.00 to $100.00 to attend the school of their choice. Each scholarship recepient will receive 50% of their total scholarship award during the brunch. At each scheduled quarterly meeting, recipients will receive the remaining percentages.
- Potential scholarship winners are encouraged to attend the brunch which will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 11:00 AM at Studio C, 8930 Lorraine Road, Suite B, Gulfport, MS 39501. (Must be present to win.)
- Applicants must submit a copy of their acceptance letter from the college they will attend in the fall of 2026, no later than Monday, June 15, 2026.
