July 18-20, 2025 | It's our 5th anniversary! Sign up to participate in paint-outs, a Saturday morning harbor cruise on the Vista Queen, artist socials, and public reception at the Great Lakes Academy of Fine Art.
Friday, July 18

4:00-10:00pm Evening artist social and nocturnal paint-out around Canal Park. Meet at Canal Park Brewing Company for appetizers/dinner and beverages before heading out to paint.

Saturday, July 19

8:45am Meet to board the Vista Queen for 90 minute harbor cruise. We'll learn about features and landmarks around the Duluth harbor and research being conducted and planned by the Lake Superior Research Institute and its new catamaran research ship, the Sadie Ann. Afterwards we'll have lunch and paint-outs around the ports of Duluth and Superior.

6:00pm Dinner at Blackwoods Restaurant on the corner of London Rd at the end of I-35.

8:00pm Artist social at Matt Kania's house (walking distance from Blackwoods).

Sunday, July 21

9a-12p Member Workshop with Adam Swanson at GLAFA, 810 W. 3rd St, Duluth MN 55806. Participation is free for OPM members, $25 for nonmembers. A separate sign-up form is published on OPM's Plein Air Duluth web page.

12-1p Picnic BYO/takeout lunch from nearby Lincoln Park

2-4p Public Reception & Painting Sale at GLAFA. Paintings are displayed on GLAFA's studio easels. Painting sales are handled by GLAFA @30% commission.
