Please be aware that pets given as gifts for the holiday season are often more likely to be returned after the "new" wears off. With this in mind, please make sure that your decision to adopt is well thought out and that you are willing to put in the work that is required to acclimate a new pet into your household. Many dogs come with the need to be potty trained or finished being potty trained. All animals adopted from our organization may not be rehomed without our express permission. If there are behavioral or medical problems we want to help correct those situations before any rehoming is done.

Vet bills can be expensive. The average first year bills can approach $500. Do you have the resources to take care of an emergency for your new pet? By carefully considering the finances of adoption, we want you to be fully aware of the responsibilities you are undertaking. If you have had a pet in the past please let us know briefly what kind of medical care they have required.*

By checking the box below, you understand the terms of this form and adoptee. You hereby agree that you will not use this animal in any sort of fighting, breeding, or cruelty. You will love and care for this animal for the rest of its life, and you are ready to commit to that. You also agree, that if for any circumstances you can no longer provide love and care for this animal, you will contact an admin of the group and explain your situation before taking the animal to a shelter. All animals will be altered before leaving our control. If they are not because of age, a foster to adopt agreement will be signed. Once the surgery is complete, ownership of the animal will be transferred to the adopter.
