1. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES. Client acknowledges that the Trainer is only able to teach Client techniques, and that Client itself, has their own responsibilities to implement such techniques. For these reasons, Client agrees to do the following:
A. Prior to Training Session:
(i) Client shall have realistic expectations and understand that no training is guaranteed to solve issues instantly.
(ii) Client shall provide detailed and truthful information about their dog’s behavior, restrictions and health before training on the client information form.
(iii) Client shall provide proof of current vaccinations, ensure that their dog is current on their flea preventatives and any other medications.
(iv) Client shall ensure that their dog used the bathroom before to avoid taking lengthy potty breaks during the session.
B. During the Training Session:
(i). Clients to provide their dog’s daily food ration in addition to any treats.
(ii). Clients shall provide appropriate collar/harnesses, leash and muzzles if needed for their dog.
(iii). It is best if all members of the family are present at the initial training session to ensure consistency and success for the dog.
C. After the Training Session:
(i) Client shall apply training exercises and management strategies demonstrated by Trainer.
(ii) Clients should communicate regularly with Trainer to track progress, for additional support and determine if/ what further training is needed. Client can contact Trainer via text/email/phone call to get assistance with training; Trainer will respond within 24 hours. If Client fails to return contact 3 times then Trainer will discontinue check ins and consider Client uninterested in further training.
D. For 1 on 1 Training Visits:
(i) Client shall provide Trainer with a key, gate codes and other appropriate methods for accessing the residence where the dog(s) will be kept.
(ii) Trainer will meet Client before booking to review where dog supplies are kept and any home protocols requested by Client. There is no charge for this visit and is included in the services.
(iii) Cient can ask for key to residence back at any time if they wish to discontinue services.
(iv) Trainer will send Client visit updates after each visit via text message unless other communication method is requested.
E. For Boarding and DayCare Services:
(i) Client shall ensure that pup is up to date with vaccinations and free of contagious illness before their reservation begins. Trainer acknowledges that unplanned illnesses can happen, but reserves the right to cancel a reservation for the health and safety of other clients in the facility.
(ii) If Trainer has medical concerns about the health and well being of a pup they may call the veterarian on file to discuss the best treatment plan while Client is away.
