  • Thank you for your interest in becoming a narrator for audiobooksradio which serves independent authors and publishers! Self-published authors, and small publishers represent all those voices in our community - people who want to tell their stories, and share their knowledge and skills. If chosen as a narrator for a project - your name will be in the credits for the audio book - and able to be distributed on international audio platforms.

    To register for audition call-outs, please fill out this form. Plus we can capture a description of your voice for filing. This information will be used when we are matching voices to projects.

    All narrators involved in this project require access to an appropriate studio. We can provide this for you - or we can work with a studio you already have access to and are familiar with. And we want to know if you can self-edit (in these COVID times it really helps to not need two people in a Studio). Let’s see where you stand:

    Screams and witch-like shrillness might be in demand for horror story podcasts or voice-overs. But unless you’re looking to terrify or depress your audience, picking a pleasant uplifting voice is mostly assumed to be effective.
