    Rescue Dogs are amazing and they bring so much joy into our lives.  We can't change their past but YOU can rewrite their future.  That's why we need more people like you to help us out by fostering or foster to adopt a dog in need.

    When you foster a dog, not only are you giving them a chance at life and helping that dog find their forever home, but you're also freeing up space for another dog to come into our rescue program.  And it's so rewarding, you get to see the transformation of that dog from when they first arrive into your home until the day they leave for their furever homes. Fostering is an amazing experience that we know you won't regret and our team of volunteers are always available to help you along the way.  All supplies, support and food provided by Backstreet Paws Rescue.

     

    2. Foster to Adopt

    Foster-to-Adopt is a great way to learn if one of our dogs is a good fit for your family prior to committing to adoption.  When you foster-to-adopt, you take the animal home for short, pre-determined period of time (2 weeks) before deciding whether the relationship is meant to be.  If you decide that this dog is not a match we ask that you continue fostering until we find their furever home.  Backstreet Paws Rescue will provide all required supplies however if you decide to adopt it will be the responsibility of the adopter to return our supplies back to storage.
