  • Safety precautions for MEMF Workshops

Because of the present Covid situation we have introduced various safety measures for all workshops until further notice. Because we all want to sing and play instruments together there can be no guarantee of absolute safety. Neither is it realistic to have 2m social distancing. As well as the measures below a lot will depend on you being careful to respect others as well as keeping yourself as safe as possible.

    • You must have pre-booked to be able to attend.
    • Please take a rapid lateral flow test prior to the workshop day, and obviously not attend if the result is positive.
    • If you develop Covid symptoms on the morning of the workshop, please do not attend. Inform the organiser, when possible, and your fee will be refunded.
    • We shall make sure that the venues continue to be well ventilated by keeping windows and/or doors open wherever possible - so please dress accordingly.
    • Hand sanitisers will be provided on entry and around the venue.
    • The hall/church being used will be set out as socially distanced as possible, depending on the space and on the number of participants.
    • To avoid break-time crushes we ask you to stagger going to the toilet throughout the day (just get up and leave the workshop - tutors will be told to expect this) but no more than 2 per suite of toilets at a time.
    • Please wear a mask when walking around the venue but obviously remove when eating/drinking and when singing (if you wish) but please be thoughtful to others.

This list of precautions will be updated when there are changes in the situation.

  • Should be Empty:
