Application and Selection Process
1. Application forms may be obtained from the district TEEF webpage under the Community dropdown menu.
2. Completed applications will be submitted to the campus principal, supervisor, Chief Academic Officer for approval.
3. Once all required signatures are obtained, submit application at the District Technology and Curriculum offices (west entrance to Troy High School). All complete applications will be forwarded to the TEEF Grant Selection Committee.
4. The TEEF Grant Committee will review and score applications. Applications will be reviewed and judged anonymously. The following personnel will serve in an advisory capacity to supply information as needed to the TEEF Grant Committee: Chief Academic Officer, Director of Technology and campus principals.
5. Grant application will be approved, approved with modifications, or rejected.
6. Applicants will be notified by the date specified by the committee. TEEF will award Troy ISD funds for each grant and Troy ISD will disperse funds for expenses used in implementation of the grant.
7. TEEF will recognize grant recipients at the next TEEF event.
Responsibilities of Grant Recipients
1. The grant recipient must use the awards for the purpose intended.
2. Recipients will complete an evaluation (as described in their application) at the end of the grant period to his/her campus principal, Chief Academic Officer, and Technology Director (if applicable).
3. Following the end of the grant period, the recipient may be asked to appear at the next TEEF event to report on the results of the grant.
4. Funds must be expended by the end of the school year.
5. Project must be completed and final report submitted to TEEF before recipient can submit an application for another grant.
6. Recipients must agree to share successful programs in staff development sessions.
7. Troy ISD Administration will have discretion for the use of any equipment, supplies, or money remaining at the end of the grant.
