1. Grief Therapy Group - Many people tend to think of grieving in terms of the death of a loved one. But the truth is, there are many different types of grief. We can experience grief after many types of loss in life. For example, divorce, a friendship ending, or job loss can all result in us having feelings of grief. Grieving can cause sadness, regret, anger, and other emotions that might cause us to struggle. But grief isn’t just the feelings we experience. Rather, it’s a process we must go through in order to fully heal. Grief therapy can offer a way to handle painful experiences in a healthy manner. Grief therapy techniques offer guidance and provide helpful tools for processing loss.

2. Trauma Group Therapy - Over 50% of people experience at least one trauma in their lives. That percentage is increased in African- Americans and individuals in lower socioeconomic classes. Trauma can include a wide range of situations, ranging from serious injury, sexual violence, and life-threatening events, to chronic abuse and neglect, being bullied, and homelessness. Trauma therapy is a form of therapy that can help you deal with the emotional response caused by a traumatic event.

3. Life Skills Group - Life skills groups are designed to allow individuals to hone skills that can be used in everyday life. These capabilities will enhance the quality of life of by improving coping skills and knowing how to enhance relationships. This group will educate it’s participants in ares including: budgeting, personal etiquette, anger management and work ethic.

4. Parenting Group - Parents may choose to take a parenting class because they are frustrated with how things are going. Parenting class will help you find positive ways to get along better with your kids. Topics cover how to better listen and communicate with your children, childhood development and effective ways of encouraging, motivating and disciplining children. A certificate will be awarded upon completion.
