UNDER TEXAS LAW (CHAPTER 87, CIVIL PRACTICE AND REMEDIES CODE), AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES.
I, blanks*understand that becoming a volunteer at Patriot Pups and Ponies, Inc. (P3) is solely my decision to be a part of the animal rescue process.

I understand that P3 is not responsible for any accidents I may have, P3 is not responsible for any illness that I may get from an animal, or P3 is not responsible for any kick or horse related injury or animal bite or scratch that I may get from handling the animals/equines in rescue.

I understand that P3 is a non profit group of volunteers and I am liable for my own protection, actions and any medical needs that I may incur.

I understand that P3 is an animal rescue that handles all animals that can be wild, feral, or sick, and I am taking responsibility for my own well being when I am volunteering for P3.
