    Quotes

    Quotes are provided at your consultation and are valid for 14 day, some quotes may expire prior to 14 days, in which the date will be shown on the quote. All quotes are based upon the information provided to us, and may be subject to change.

     

    Bookings

    Your wedding/ event  date is reserved once a 30% non- refundable booking has been paid. Your deposit covers securing the date, confirming your floral design and flower order, pre-ordering flowers with suppliers. Bookings made within one month of the wedding date must be paid in full on acceptance of the quote, as flowers must be ordered in advance.

     

    Payments

    Payments can be made at any time, from the date of the booking up until one (1) month prior to the wedding date, when final and full payment is required. Our preferred method for payment is direct deposit. Payments by paypal, cash or direct debit can be made in person.

     

    Appointments

    We offer one complimentary appointment via phone with an emailed quote. It is recommended that you email any photos of inspiration prior to your phone consultation, in order to provide you the most accurate quote. It is advised that you check any Australian and Brisbane based websites to check on seasonal availability.

     

    Order confirmation

    All orders must be confirmed with a booking no later then one (1)month before the wedding date. Please check your order carefully, as Peppy Peony takes no responsibility for any errors or omissions once you have confirmed your final order. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that any item/s are fit for the intended use.

    Changes/ Amendments

    Once your wedding/event has been booked changes may be made, however they may incur additional charges and are not guaranteed. Bookings are transferable to another date (subject to notice and availability).

    Peppy Peony recommends that you finalize all the details of your wedding/ event flowers at least one (1) month prior to the  date, so your flowers can be ordered.

    Any arrangements needing to be made into vases provided by your self or venue can not be accurately quoted until supplied to Peppy Peony. Any changes to vessels may also require re quoting.

    Cancellations

    Weddings/ events canceled within one (1) week of the scheduled delivery/ collection time will not be refunded, as the flowers have been purchased and arranged and can not be re used as they have been custom designed product. We will also have blocked out this date in good faith, and have lost the opportunity to another wedding/ event.

    Cancellations made more then two weeks prior to your wedding/event date will be refunded less the 30% non- refundable booking.

    Availability and variations

    When working with nature, there are no guarantees. Peppy Peony will do our best to supply exactly what you order, however due to variances in the weather and seasonal availability of some flowers, we can not guarantee availability of exact colours or shades.

    Should we need to substitute any specified flowers for you, we will select what we feel is the next best option and you will be notified if any of these changes need to occur.

    Dyed Flowers If your wedding bouquet contains dyed flowers, please note these are not colourfast. If the stems or heads get wet or touch fabric / hands, the colour may run/ transfer or stain. To prevent this please dry the stems carefully & thoroughly before handling.

    Deliveries

    Deliveries are quoted for each suburb and time. Delivery does not include installation unless specified. Should you require installation a separate quote will be supplied based on an hourly rate. Sundays / Public Holidays Collections can be arranged outside normal business hours and public holidays on request.

    Hire Peppy Peony does not hire vases or wedding decorations.

     

    DIY weddings/events

    Peppy Peony loves the idea of a DIY wedding and happy to support you in every way possible to make your dream a reality. Prices vary depending on seasonality of flowers and if they were a special order.

    Peppy Peony will let you know one the flowers are ordered date for collection. Florist tape, wire, ribbon and cutters, can also be purchased.

    A 50% booking fee is required with the final payment due on the day of collection.

    There are no refunds on changes to special orders, for market flowers in the last month and what ever is ordered must be collected and paid for - we are not able to return flowers to growers if you change your mind.

    If for some reason we are unable to purchase that you desire we will endeavour to organize you a second option and you will be promptly consulted.

    Peppy Peony suggests that flowers are collected the day before wedding /event to allow your self time to make your DIY arrangements.

    If you have someone else creating your arrangements / bouquets with our flowers, the responsibility for flower care, damage, waste and the final product is now out of our control.

    Special orders

    Peppy Peony requires a minimum of one (1) Month / 4 weeks notice for all orders.

     

    Second Options Peppy Peony will require a second option in case the flowers you choose are not available. Some reasons why flowers are not available include:

    -Transport issues

    -Pests

    -Quality control

    -Climate variations

    - High demand

     

    Ordering

    Please note that if this is a wedding order we recommend ordering an extra bunch or two in case there are broken heads or brown tips. Flowers are perishable and while every care is taken while in our care, sometimes flowers can be damaged in transit and we are not aware of this until the flowers are unwrapped for use.

    Conditioning/ flower care

    Please ensure there is cool water for the flowers to be placed into when you return home with your flowers. The water vessels need to be very clean and have cool, clean tap water in them. Using a dirty vessel will reduces the life of your flowers.

    Flowers should not be out of the water for any more then 10 minutes, every minute they are out of the water reduces the life span. It is a great idea to have buckets of water in your car ready for your flowers when collected. Once you arrive home gently remove any packaging and if needed cut 2- 3 cm off of stems and place in the cool water try to avoid over crowding. Do not store flowers in commercial refrigerators this could damage your flowers. Keeping flowers hydrated, in air conditioned room out of direct sunlight is adequate for most flowers.

    Timing

    If you require flowers for a DIY wedding or event we recommend you collect them and make them the day before. Please note, flowers are perishable and they will be damaged and perish quickly under the following conditions:

    - Left in car for more then 15 minutes

    - Left out of cool water for more then 20 minutes.

    - Not having steams cut Being handeled out of water for more then 20 minutes

    - Hot hands

    - Hot environment Warm water / no water

     

    Returns Policy

     

    Quality Issues / Returns

    Sometimes even nature can through a curve ball and what seems to be perfect on the outside can turn out to be less than.

    Cut flowers can have their problems, so if you notice a problem with the quality of the flowers or arrangements received, we request that Peppy Peony be contacted within 24 hours of purchase. A photograph of the flowers are required in order for us to review the quality issue. A response to any quality issues are  usually given within one business day once the photo is received.

     

    Non - Delivery 

    Non - delivery complaints must be received within 24 hours of the delivery date.

    Issues raised after this time will be considered on an individual basis.

     

    We will however always look at any issues on case by care basis.

     

    Refunds are processed within 2-5 business days of the customer being notified that their request for a full or partial refund has been granted. Funds are returned to a paypal / bank account accounts.
