GRANT APPLICATION

𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲

Applicants to the HELP OUR TEACHERS FUND must be:

Employed by an accredited K-12 public or private school located in Atlanta, GA,Kansas City, KS, Los Angeles, CA or Newark, NJ.
Full-time educators, teachers, paraprofessionals, or classified staff with effective and innovative projects that improve student learning.

Applications must be verified by the school superintendent, principal or applicants
immediate supervisor. If selected as a recipient, the school official will be contacted to verify your employment status and proposed project.

Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender or gender identity, disability, or national origin.

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬

Ten Grants are available up to $500.00 in each of the following cities: Atlanta, GA,
Kansas City, KS, Los Angeles, CA and Newark, NJ. All awards must be used to further the projects or programs (including materials and supplies), as described in the submitted application, within the school or school system. We anticipate a large number of applications. Please make sure that you have carefully read and completed the application. If you are selected and awarded a grant, you will be required to submit:

A completed and signed prize affidavit form (to be shared with you)
A one-page grant report with the following:
- Your name, School, City, State
- Details on what your purchased with your funds
- How many students benefited from the funds/grant
- Testimonial that we may share with our donor
- One tip we may share with other teachers that may apply for a Help our Teachers grant in the future
Two photos in Jpeg format. One photo with 2-3 students along with the items purchased. One photo of the winning teacher. (Note: a required FILL consent photo release form signed by each student’s guardian)

Funds must be used by April 25, 2025. The one-page report and two photos are due no later than May 2, 2025.

Application due date for the Atlanta, GA and Newark, NJ 2025 Spring grant distribution is December 31, 2024.

Application due date for the Kansas City, KS and Los Angeles, CA 2025 Spring grant distribution is February 7, 2025.

GRANT PROPOSAL

Includes your name, school, city and state
Explains in detail about what you will purchase and why these materials or other purchases are needed at your school.

Describes your desired outcomes.
