Applicants to the HELP OUR TEACHERS FUND must be: Employed by an
accredited K-12 public or private school located in New Jersey.
Full-time educators, teachers, paraprofessionals, or classified staff with effective
and innovative projects that improve student learning.
Applications must be verified by the school superintendent, principal or applicant's immediate supervisor. If selected as a recipient, the school official will be contacted to verify your employment status and proposed project.
Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, age, sexual
orientation, gender or gender identity, disability, or national origin.

Ten Grants will be awarded in the amount of $500. All awards must be used to
further the projects or programs (including materials and supplies), as described in
the submitted application, within the school or school system. We anticipate a large
number of applications. Please make sure that you have carefully read and
completed the application. If you are selected and awarded a grant, you will be
required to submit:
- A completed and signed prize affidavit form (to be shared with you)
- A one-page grant report with the following:
- Your name, School, City, State
- Details on what your purchased with your funds
- How many students benefited from the funds/grant
- Testimonial that we may share with our donor
- One tip we may share with other teachers that may apply for a Help our Teachers grant in the future
- Two photos in Jpeg format. One photo with 2-3 students along with the items purchased. One photo of the winning teacher. (Note: a required FILL consent photo release form signed by each studentβs guardian)
By submitting your application, you will be deemed to have acknowledged and
accepted the terms and conditions of this grant.
Classroom grants may be used for a variety of projects and materials, including but not limited to books, software, calculators, art and school supplies, audio-visual equipment and lab materials. You may receive only one grant per calendar year.
Funds must be used by December 12, 2025. The one-page report and two photos are due no later than December 19, 2025.
We are anticipating continuing this grant program depending on donations from
supporters.
