*you must have completed Junior Puppy Class at Jane Book's Dog School in the past six weeks. If you have not completed Junior Puppy Class please enrol in a Beginner Obedience Class if your dog is over 5 months old. If you have completed Junior Puppy Class please contact the office to discuss options.
This is a six-week course designed for dogs who have already completed the Junior Puppy Course with Jane Book.

NOTE: dates are subject to change if enrolment levels are not met, in case of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Assumption of Risk and Agreement to Hold Harmless

I hereby waive and release Jane Book's Dog Obedience School, its landlord, employees, owners and agents from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage that I or my dog or members of my family or my guests may suffer, including specifically, but not limited to any injury or damage resulting from the action of my dog, and I expressly assume the risk of any such damage or injury while attending any training session or function of Jane Book's Dog Obedience School, or while on the training grounds or the surrounding area thereto . In consideration of and as inducement to the acceptance of my application for training in this dog obedience training class of Jane Book's Dog Obedience School, I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jane Book's Dog Obedience School, its landlord, employees, owners and agents from any and all claims, or claims by any member of my family or any other person accompanying me to any training class or function of the school or while in the hall or surrounding area thereto as a result of any action by any dog including my own. Further I acknowledge that photos taken by the staff at Jane Book's Dog School may be used for promotional material for the school. I acknowledge that I fully understand the terms and provisions of this Waiver, Assumption of Risk and Agreement to Hold Harmless and that I am setting my hand here to delivering the same freely and voluntarily and unconditionally.*
Acceptance of Waiver*

You will need:
- A flat training collar or head harness (gentle leaders style) *Gentle Leader head harnesses are available for purchase in Jane Book's Dog School.
- 6 foot leash
- A variety of tasty training treats
- Proof of your dog's vaccination
- a chew toy (non-squeeking)
- Dry shoes (for wet weather days only)
- payment by cash, cheque or e-transfer to janebookdogs@gmail.com if you have not paid in advance
  
  Please note: flexi-leashes are inappropriate for training. We use positive based training methods, and do not allow choke chains, prong or shock collars in our school. If your dog normally uses a harness you may have it on, but please also have a regular flat collar on for training.

We prefer e-transfer to janebookdogs@gmail.com or cash/cheque payment at your first class.

If paying by e-transfer please include the name of the dog and the date the sessions starts.

Cash payments can be brought to your first class, please ensure all payments are in an envelope with your dogs name clearly marked on the front.

If paying by PayPal we will invoice you through Paypal on the next business day we are in office.

You will recieve a Welcome email with helpful tips and reminders a few days prior to the start of your class.
