Lessons
Attendance:
- Students are expected to arrive by the start of their lesson time. Lessons will not be extended due to tardiness.
- Students are expected to bring all current materials to their lesson.
- Notify the teacher if a lesson will be virtual or cancelled at least one hour before your scheduled lesson time.
Missed lessons, Make-Ups, and Refunds:
- If a student is late for the lesson, they are still required to pay the full amount.
- If a student is 15+ minutes late to a lesson, they will forefit the remainder of the lesson time. If notice of tardiness has been given, a makeup lesson will be offered. If no notice is given by parent or student, no makeup lesson or refund will be offered.
- If students are unable to attend in person due to sickness or weather conditions, we will hold a virtual lesson during the regularly scheduled lesson time.
- I will follow the local school cancellations and will notify families in the morning if there is an in-person cancellation and will provide a link to your online lesson.
- If students are unable to attend the regularly scheduled lesson time, I will offer available times for make up lessons but a make up lesson may not be guaranteed and a refund/credit will not be given.
- If the teacher has to cancel lessons and a make up lesson cannot be scheduled, you will receive a credit for the cost of that lesson on your next month's invoice.
- For group lessons, you will not receive a make up time for a missed group lesson. If I need to cancel due to sickness or weather we will schedule a make up group lesson.
- I understand that piano lessons are a time and financial investment. If you do not intent to continue lessons, you need to communicate that with me.
- If you miss two consecutive payments, lessons will be stopped until you pay your outstanding balance in full.
- If you decide to discontinue lessons, you will not receive a refund for any payment already made. You will also be responsible to pay for any month in full where you have received at least one lesson.
