Part 2 - Optional

Additional financial support may be available in cases of particular need where you require support with indirect costs incurred ie loss of earnings, childcare, other unexpected costs or additional support in relation to Direct Costs referred to in Part 1.

Some examples of people who may need additional support include (but are not limited to):
- a supply teacher who has been unable to work until their enhanced DBS check was updated
- someone with dependants who had to pay for childcare during their trial
- additional travel costs for carers if you are disabled or a vulnerable adult
- you were arrested unexpectedly when you didn’t intend to be
