This form is for XR Rebels with criminal cases that have concluded within the last 24 months. We will aim to respond to all applications within three weeks.

Here you can apply for a contribution towards legal costs and other direct costs connected with your case

If you were found not guilty or your case was discontinued you can claim back solicitors fees directly from the court.

If you have been sentenced but don’t have all the above documents to hand by the deadline (eg your letter from the Court regarding your sentence hasn’t shown up in the post yet) please make a claim anyway and forward any missing documents to us once you have received them.

Part 2 - Optional

Additional financial support may be available in cases of particular need where you require support with indirect costs incurred ie loss of earnings, childcare, other unexpected costs or additional support in relation to Direct Costs referred to in Part 1.

Some examples of people who may need additional support include (but are not limited to):

a supply teacher who has been unable to work until their enhanced DBS check was updated
someone with dependants who had to pay for childcare during their trial
additional travel costs for carers if you are disabled or a vulnerable adult
you were arrested unexpectedly when you didn’t intend to be
