  • We are reaching out to you in order to clarify and validate that all services Pacific Coast Academy students receive through your program are non-sectarian and not offered in affiliation with a Private School.

    Our goal is to ensure our students are provided with an outstanding learning experience with our school and remain compliant with all public school regulations.

    A Private School is defined as a school:

    • Operated by a private person, firm, association, organization, or corporation; Submitted a Private School Affidavit (as required by Education Code section 33190) with the California Department of Education; and
    • Listed on the California Department of Education's Private School Directory.

     

     

  • Please complete the following information for Pacific Coast Academy.

     

  • 1. All approved services/classes offered to charter school students are completely non-sectarian.

     

  • 2. Students do not engage in prayer or religious rituals before or after any approved classes or events.

     

  • 3. There are no religious materials incorporated into any of your approved classes or events.

     

  • 4. Approved classes are non-discriminatory.

     

  • 5. Vendor website clearly delineates that classes offered to charter school students are non-religious. 

     

  • 6. Approved services are not offered at a Private School facility. 

     

  • 7. Services provided to Pacific Coast Academy students are open to the public and not exclusively to charter school and private school students. 

     

  • 8. Vendor (or any employees) does not provide services for a Private School as a contractor or employee as it relates to approved services provided to Pacific Coast Academy students. Services do not involve any of the Private Schools the vendor may work with. 

  • 9. Vendor has disclosed any affiliation with a Private School (e.g., child attends Private School, Board member of Private School, etc.) to Pacific Coast Academy. 

  • 10. Vendor does not intend to provide any compensation received for providing services to Pacific Coast Academy students to a Private School.

  • Please note all invoices must clearly identify the student is receiving services that are non-sectarian.
