Important Information

Please read carefully the following information before completing the application form.

Personal Travel Documents

All students coming from outside Uganda must have legal immigration documents allowing them to stay in Uganda for the duration of the DTS, such as a valid Ugandan visa, East Africa residence card, Refugee card, etc. Students arriving without legal immigration documents will be sent back to get the proper documents.

Any student hoping to travel outside Uganda for outreach, for example to South Sudan or Central Africa Republic, will be responsible for the cost of obtaining his or her own travel documents (e.g. passport or temporary travel permit). If you do not have these documents, you will not be able to go on outreach outside of Uganda.

Fees

C-Nations (e.g. Africa): $600

B-Nations (e.g. South Africa, South America): $1,100

A-Nations (e.g. USA, Canada, Europe): $2,500

A minimum of 50% of lecture phase fees must be paid on arrival or prior to the DTS, and the full balance of lecture phase + at least half of outreach fees must be paid prior to departure for outreach. If you will having any difficulty in achieving this, please contact the school leader to discuss. Failure to pay complete school fees may mean you are unable to complete the school.

Students who are planning to bring their children & a babysitter with them will need to contribute to their feeding at a cost of 160k UGX each per month..

Employer/Teacher Reference Form (to be completed by an employer, teacher or other leader who knows you well)
Spiritual Leader Reference Form (to be completed by a pastor, church leader or other spiritual leader who knows you well)
Health Form (to be completed by a doctor/physician who has personally examined you prior to completing the form)

Your application will be put on hold until all of these forms have been completed and received by YWAM Arua.
