The idea of a small sparks grant is to help local people create a better community for themselves and each other; with an award comes responsibility - if you want to do something for the environment eg. putting up bird boxes, YOU need to check out if that is OK.

The idea is that we light the blue touch-paper with the Small Spark grant and then stand well back! We want you to make the difference in your area - the only thing we ask is that you share your story.
