Wembly Waves Swim Team is excited to be returning this Summer! Please read ALL reminders, updates and changes coming this season!

1. Swim team pricing per swimmer reminder.

The 1st swimmer in every family is $130, with every additional swimmer receiving a $10 discount.

Example:
1st swimmer - $130
2nd swimmer - $120
3rd swimmer - $110
4th swimmer - $100

2. Price per swimmer INCLUDES a Wembly logo swim cap and a swim team T-Shirt!

3. NEW Swim Team suits available for purchase!

Wembly Waves swimmers are strongly encouraged to purchase an official Wembly Waves team swimsuit.

Swimsuits are also available for purchase:
1. In-Person at the Nova of Virginia Aquatics Inc. swim shop located at:
  - 12207 Gayton Rd, Richmond, VA 23238
2. At the Wembly Open House, Sunday, April 24th from 4PM-6PM.
  - A NOVA representative will be present to assist with swimsuit measurements and purchases.
4. Wembly is once again offering Pre-Team!

Pre-Team is geared toward swimmers ages 4-6 who are able to swim unassisted by flotation devices, but are too young for swim team, unable to swim a full lap or not quite ready to compete in swim meets.

**ALL Pre-Team swimmers MUST be 4 years old by August 1, 2022 and able to swim unassisted (without floaties) to participate.**

Our Pre-Team will have 3 evening practices a week. Price per Pre-Team swimmer is $150. Pre-Team swimmers price includes a Wembly logo swim cap and a swim team T-Shirt!

5. The Wembly Waves swim team will have a spirit wear online store where family, friends and fans can purhcase apparel.

6. THREE ways to pay Swim Team dues this summer!

Wembly Waves is now offering THREE ways to pay swim team dues.
1. Check by Mail:
  - Made payable to Wembly Swim & Racquet Club
  - Mailed to P.O. Box 29801, Richmond, VA, 23242
2. Check in Person:
  - Dropped off at the Front Desk
3. Online via Wembly Square Site (fees apply):

6. Parents will be REQUIRED to volunteer for a MINIMUM of 6 sessions this season!

** 1 session = half a meet**

Home swim meets need at least 35 Wembly-parent volunteers to be hosted successfully! A volunteer roster (via Sign-up Genius) will be sent out the first week of swim practice. We STRONGLY encourage all parents to complete volunteer sign-ups EARLY to avoid scheduling/vacation conflicts.

Parent/Guardian Agreement
As a parent/guardian, I agree to uphold the mission of Wembly Waves Swim Team, to promote the sport of swimming, encourage teamwork and individual achievement while fostering good sportsmanship and positive behavior and social interaction. I understand that the Wembly Waves Swim Team will not tolerate unsportsmanlike behavior, inappropriate language, bullying/teasing, disrespect to coaches, parents and/or other team members, bodily injury to others or damage to properly done by my child.

I understand that if my child is repeatedly disciplined for one or more of the actions listed above at practices and/or meets, disciplinary action will be decided by the board and may include expulsion from the team with no refund.

I understand that serious accidents may occur while my child participates in the Wembly Swim & racket Club Swim team program and that participation in such activity may result in serious personal injuries and/or property damage. Knowing the risks involved in such activities, I hereby agree to assume those risks, to release and hold harmless Wembly Swim & Racquet Club Swim team, its officers, agents and employees from any liability to me or my heirs or assigns for damages.

I understand that Wembly Waves Swim Team relies solely on parental involvement to make meets run smoothly and that it is my responsibility to sign up to work one half of each meet. I also understand that if I have not signed up for a job by 6pm the day before the meet, a job will be assigned to me and given to me at the time of meet sign-ins. I agree that if I am unable to attend or fulfill my volunteer responsibility at any meet, I will find coverage in my place. If unable to find proper coverage, I will let the volunteer coordinator know at least 24 hours before the meet.

Payment is due at the time of registration. Registration is final. Refunds for withdrawal will be considered with a doctor’s note (any refund awarded will be prorated).
