    If you are successful in your application and audition, you need to be available for one of the heats on the 7th May 2022, or 14th May 2022, and the Final on the 21 May 2022, and all performances of A RIGHT ROYAL VARIETY SHOW 1st - 4th June 2022. All events will be held at the Ice Factory Studio Theatre, Somerset Place, Teignmouth TQ14 8EN.

    Applications to enter TEIGN’S GOT TALENT should be received by us no later than Monday 18th April 2022. (For late entries, or for further information, call 07599 192 634 to confirm audition slot availability)

    •  All entrants will need to attend an audition with no audience present on either Saturday 23rd April or Saturday 30th April 2022. If you are successful in your application and audition, you need to be available for one of the heats on 7th May 2022, or 14th May 2022, the Final on 21 May 2022, and all performances of A Right Royal Variety Show on 1st - 4th June 2022. All events will be held at the Ice Factory Studio Theatre, Somerset Place, Teignmouth TQ14 8EN.
    • Please indicate your preferred date and time on the application.
    • Entry is open to people over 16 years of age at the time of auditions.
    • Acts may include (but not limited to) singing, dancing, instrumental music, skits, magic, comedy, martial arts, juggling, no lip-syncing.
    • All contestants must return a completed and signed TEIGN’S GOT TALENT ENTRY APPLICATION.
    • Contestants who are part of a group act must submit individual applications but include the same group name.
    • Recommended performance length for your audition is 3 minutes; however, acts must be no more than 5 minutes in length.
    • Maximum number of participants in a single act is TEN people.
    • In all cases, decisions of the judges are final and will not be open to discussion.
    • Absolutely no profanity or insensitive subject matter will be permitted.
    • Costumes must be appropriate for all age groups. This is a community event.
    • All performances will be screened for appropriateness by the Talent Show organisers.
    • If your act requires recorded accompanying music, the music must be provided to the TEIGN’S GOT TALENT organisers in advance of auditions by email: teignsgottalent@outlook.comMP3 or .WAV file format only please)
    • Live musicians must provide their own instruments for their performance
    • Acts with any member under 18 years of age must have written consent from parents for each of the members. We will seek this permission after receiving your application where needed.
    • Your audition act must be the same as your Heat and Final act.
    • Members of Teignmouth Players, or anyone with a close family connection with any organisers or judges are not eligible to enter the contest.
    • There will be prizes given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

    Privacy: Teignmouth Players is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and operates with full compliance of our GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018 obligations as required. Except where required by law or as necessary for the effective running of the Charity, we will not share your details with anyone outside the Society without your express permission to do so. All members are reminded of their obligations under data privacy laws. Our membership and other records are managed using remote on-line systems that are UK based and fully GDPR / Privacy Act 2018 compliant. Safeguarding: Teignmouth Players have a comprehensive safeguarding policy in place to keep all members safe at all times. Full copies of these and other policy documents are available on request. Insurance: Members of Teignmouth Players benefit from insurance policies provided by NODA, and membership also provides personal accident insurance cover to members whilst participating in our activities. We regret, however, that personal accident cover is not available to persons aged 80 or over. Members are still covered by our public liability insurance whilst working on our activities.

    Charitable status: Teignmouth Players is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) registered with the Charities Commission as charity number 1176546. Teignmouth Players Amateur Dramatic Society, The Ice Factory Studio Theatre are managed by a a board of trustees and a committee, all of whom are volunteer members of the Society. Accessibility: Teignmouth Players at the Ice Factory Studio Theatre strive to ensure that we meet the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 including making our premises as accessible as it is possible to do so within the limitations of a building the age of the Ice Factory Studio Theatre. We are committed to making enhancements wherever we can. The Society continues to assess options available to us in order to enhance accessibility to our premises.
