The newsletter is published on Tuesday mornings. Submissions are due by 5pm Sunday evenings. Submissions received after 5pm on Sunday will be included in the following week's newsletter. Listings are free!

This newsletter is focused on the visual arts in the Pioneer Valley, so there are only two criteria for submissions:

Visual arts-related
Pioneer Valley area of western MA (Pioneer Valley is Hampshire, Hampden, and Franklin counties)

When will your submission be listed? See below:

Art Exhibits / Events: listed up to two weeks in advance of start date, and deleted on end date.
Craft Fairs & Open Studios & Pop-up Shops: listed up to two weeks in advance of start date. Temporary pop-up and holiday shops selling work by local artists and makers are welcome but permanent brick & mortar stores will not be listed (please consider buying an ad instead).
Call to Artists / Artist Opportunities: listed up to 6 months in advance, deleted on deadline date. Open-ended listings (i.e. no end date) will be listed for eight weeks. You are welcome to re-submit your listing. Preference is given to Pioneer Valley area calls/opportunities; though calls/opportunities outside the Pioneer Valley area may be listed if they are relevant to local artists.
Classes: listed up to three months in advance, deleted on start date. A maximum of three classes per organization can be listed per issue. If you are offering multiple classes, you may combine them into one listing. Open-ended listings (i.e. no end date) will be listed for eight weeks. You are welcome to re-submit your listing.
Studio / Artist Space Available: listed for four weeks. Please notify me if the space has been rented within that time. You are welcome to re-list a space if it's still available after four weeks.
Crowdfunding: listed up to one week in advance of start date, and deleted on end date. Nearly anything visual-art related will be considered via Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or GoFundMe (including funding for individual artists and artists-in-need). Please contact me with any questions.

The Valley Arts Newsletter is a weekly newsletter published on Tuesdays with listings for art shows & events, craft fairs & pop-ups, calls for artists, art classes, studio space, and art/ist crowdfunding. Listings are submitted by our readers and are focused on the visual arts in the Pioneer Valley area (Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin counties). Listings are free!
