Who is Eligible for the Scholarship Program?
Main Street Launch (MSL) and The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Oakland/Bay Area Chapterr (NCBW/OBAC) offer scholarships to enrolled High School, Community, State, University Colleges as undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing careers in Entrepreneurship.
How Do Students Qualify?
To qualify for a scholarship, an applicant must be current on the student roster in a Bay Area community, state or university college. The Student must have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 during their school tenure and demonstrate commitment to continued academic achievement. All candidates must also document the reasons you are applying for financial assistance.
The school listed in your application must be the school you are currently attending or planning to attend at the time you seek payment of your award. MSL and NCBW/OBAC reserves the right to rescind an award if the school or any information provided for payment differs from infomation provided in the application.
Awardee must agree to periodically provide education and career updates to NCBW/OBAC as requested.
Students should submit completed application and download all required
documentation with the application.

How Are Students Selected?
Students are selected for scholarships by MSL and NCBW/OBAC based on their academic achievements, community involvement, extracurricular engagement, leadership experience, financial need and the ability to follow the explicit instrution in this application.
