Volunteers at Auchingarrich Wildlife & Adventure Park play a VITAL role in supporting the care, conservation and development of our park, animals and grounds, whilst also helping to create a safe and welcoming environment for visitors.
Your contribution allows staff to focus more time and resources on specialised animal care and education programs.
We are looking for support in a vast amount of area's within the park, including enclosure maintenance, gardeners to help plant out and maintain the park grounds and flower beds as well as customer engagement staff to help customers in the walkthroughs and to potentially provide planned animal talks. There is also always support needed with mucking out, feeding and grooming the animals.
If anyone is good at DIY we always need help with animal enclosure upkeep, repair and maintenance.
In return, volunteers gain hands-on experience with wildlife, develop new skills and contribute directly, to protecting animals and their habitats - all while being part of a passionate conservation community.
Volunteers will also be provided with a hot, homemade soup and sandwich lunch, and hot beverages throught the day.
*Please note - we do ask that our volunteers are 16yrs plus and volunteers may be subject to a background check.
