Zoo Krew Kidz Kamp - Summer 2023 - Session One (June)

Camp Registration and Information

Please complete all information to register your child(ren) for The Gentle Zoo's Zoo Krew Kidz Kamp. Once your registration and payment are completed you will receive, by email, a child information and emergency contact form that will need to be turned in on the first day of camp. If you have more than one child attending camp please complete one for each child.

Registration fees help cover materials for camp, including snacks served at the end of each day, lunch on Thursday, supplies, and a free tee-shirt given on the first day of Kamp! Your child(ren) will be asked to wear this shirt for all 4 days of our Zoo Krew Kamp, but please pack an extra shirt for Thursday. We will be TYE-DYING our Kamp shirts on Thursday. For Monday-Wednesday, please pack a sack lunch for your child (we provide lunch on Thursday). We ask that each camper bring a reusable water bottle each day and wear socks and close-toed, & close-heeled shoes. No skirts/dresses (skorts acceptable) as the campers will be learning what it's like on a working farm, running around, playing, as well as have time to jump on the pillow. We recommend long hair be tied up, or at least have a hair-tie available.

$225 per child (siblings will be $175 if you have multiple campers)

Camp Hours

June 12th - June 15th.

Monday-Thursday 10 AM - 1 PM.

Drop off will begin at 9:30 AM and the first activity will begin at 10 AM. Pick up will begin at 1 PM and end at 1:30 PM. Please note, we cannot start an activity late or redo any activities for late campers.
Failure to pick up your camper by 1:30 PM will result in late fees.
Please arrive at 9:30 AM on first day of camp so you can check in your child(ren) and complete anything outstanding.

10:15-10:45am: Classroom Lesson 
10:45-11:00: Bathroom/Water Break
11:00-11:45am: Barnyard Animal Feeding/Goat Interactions & Brushing
11:45am-12:20pm: LUNCH* 
12:20-12:35pm: Bathroom Break & Train Ride 
12:35-1:00pm: Jumping Pillow/Playground/Snack 

Itinerary for Mammal Day - Tuesday

9:30-10:00am: Drop off/Jumping Pillow/Playground
10:00-10:30am: Classroom Lesson

10:45-11:20am: Exotic Mammal Interactions (Animal Room)
11:20-11:45am: Exotic Mammal Interactions (Outside)
11:45am-12:20pm: LUNCH*
12:20-12:35pm: Bathroom Break 
12:35-1:00pm: Jumping Pillow/Playground/Snack

10:45-11:20am: Animal Room Bird/Bug/Reptile Interactions
11:20-11:45am: Outside Reptile Interactions (Bathing Tortoises)

Itinerary for Conservation Day “Saving Our World” - Thursday

10:45-11:15am: Butterfly Garden 
11:15-11:35am: Conservation Game or Activity
11:35am-12:15pm: LUNCH (provided by us)

12:40-1:00pm: Water Activity (Tie-Dye**)
