TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.- The number of places available on the courses is limited and therefore places will be allocated in order of registration. TLCdénia reserves the right of admission.
2.- Students and their parents or legal guardians agree to abide by all the rules and regulations established by TLCdénia in order to ensure the security and peaceful coexistence of all involved.
3.- Those legally responsible for under-aged students are bound by law to provide TLCdénia with the correct information required, including details of illnesses, allergies and special diets.
4.- TLCdénia reserves the right to change the date, venue or any other aspect of an activity in the event of weather changes or other forces beyond the school’s control.
5.- It is required that students wear appropriate clothing and shoes, as well as sunscreen to participate in the activities. Students not following these requirements may not be allowed to participate in certain sports activities for safety reasons.
6.- It is mandatory that students have the necessary private or European public healthcare insurance documentation with them and inform TLCdénia of any event that may occur. Additionally, students participating in the “Teenager Summer Programme” are covered by a basic accident and health insurance contracted by TLCdénia through a third party. To guarantee the coverage, the student must notify a TLCdénia staff member directly or through the host family before being assisted in a hospital.
7.- Parents or legal guardians authorize the team in charge to make the necessary decisions in case of an accident or illness and understand that they will be promptly informed if anything should happen.
8.- It is mandatory to provide a doctor’s report with specific instructions on medication administration for cases where students require special medical treatment.
9.- In the case of a student developing a contagious disease the team in charge will follow the guidelines established by the medical services, whilst informing the legal guardians that the student is to be collected immediately.
10.- TLCdénia reserves the right to take any photographs and videos during activities with students, to share them with students on their social networks, and to use them as promotional material for these courses, providing that the consent of either the student or their legal guardian has not been previously withdrawn. However, the student or legal guardian may revoke this consent at any time.
11.- Any student who does not respect the rules and regulations with serious breaches of discipline, or who does not follow the specific instructions repeatedly or severely given to them by the team in charge, may be expelled from the programme/course and will not be entitled to any refund.
12. - Travel expenses are the responsibility of the legal guardians as are damages to third parties, and in case of damage repair costs due to the misuse of property or injury to others, these will also be charged to the parents or legal guardians.
13.- Students participating in the “Teenager Summer Programme” will be under adult supervision while at home with the host family, at school and during the programmed activities and excursions. Outside these hours, the student has permission from his/her parents or legal guardian to leave the house, under his/her own responsibility, in day time from 8:30 to 23:00, as long as her/she has informed the host family or school’s staff in charge. TLCdénia will not be responsible of any incident that may occur while commuting to and from the school or activities, during the free time, or after the curfew.
14.- Students who book an airport transfer with TLCdénia, will be picked up at the airport’s arrivals hall in Alicante or Valencia on the first day, and dropped off to the airport on the last day. The normal service includes transfers for flights arriving or departing between 9:00 and 21:00. For other schedules there might be an extra charge. This transfer service does not include any check-in assistance. If the student needs assistance when checking in, it must be notified when booking the programme. This service might cause an extra cost. It will not be possible to request any boarding assistance beyond the airport’s security checkpoint.
15.- Consuming alcohol, tobacco or other illegal drugs is absolutely prohibited by law for anyone being less than 18 years old. Any student not following these rules, may be asked to leave the programme. TLCdénia will not be responsible for any incident that takes place while the student under the influence of any illegal substance.
16.- Driving is only allowed in Spain for 18-year olds and older. Any kind of underage driving is not permitted for any students in the programme, including driving cars, motorcycles or any other engine-powered vehicle, as well as riding anyone else’s vehicle who is not a school’s staff member or a host family’s member. TLCdénia will not be responsible for any incident taking place after infringing this rule.
17.- The student is not allowed to have any kind of sexual relationship with anyone while in the programme. For safety reasons, the student must inform a TLCdénia’s staff member in charge in case of suffering any type of sexual harassment while in the programme. This issue shall be treated discreetly.
18.- Students must respect the curfew time established by TLCdénia of 23:00 from Sunday to Thursday, and 0:30 on Friday and Saturday. If students do not respect this rule, the school will be not responsible for any consequences.
19.- The application for enrolment and payment means the acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

- Nautical water activities on a boat or kayak, following all safety regulations.
- Bathing in a swimming pool or the sea.
- Excursion on foot or bike.
- Commuting on foot or bike from the school to the activity venue.
- Travelling in vehicles provided by the school or in those hired from third parties.
- Transport to a medical facility in a private vehicle in cases where medical care is needed.
- For the team in charge to administer first aid and provide small antipyretics, antihistamines, anti-inflammatory and analgesic compounds such as Paracetamol, aspirin or ibuprofen.
