FAQ (Please read before sending out text, sometimes it takes time for me to respond back because of busy scheudle).
1. How long are sessions?
Skill sessions: No longer than 1 hour - athletes will show up 15 minutes early to warm up, 15 minutes for post strength training & then skill/speed with me which completes an hour of being in the gym with me.
Mentality sessions: 20-30 minutes. Athletes get graded for coming to our Confidence Coaching classes and win awards for the most participation each month & highest grade point average of the semester.
2. What about make-ups?
Weather advisory days and cancellations a day before can only be made up if there is availability. If not, they will not be made up. However, we do keep track of missed sessions and clients will be sent make up days that may be open. **There is a 24 hour rule for Cancellations-- they must be made within 24 hours to make up. Only allowed 1 make up. No shows will be charged with a $25 fee due to gym rental fees for their slot.
3. Can parent stay and watch?
The first session, I would like to have parents there to see how the sessions go. After this, parents are able to leave. In some cases, athletes get distracted so it is usually best to give the athlete privacy and it helps them build maturity to not look for assurance on the sideline.
4. What if I complete the 6 month program and would like to continue?
If you complete that program then you will pay an extra $75/month since your athlete is graduating to a higher level training + taking up the slot of the next athlete on the waiting list. If year-round, then you'll pay the membership price.
5. When are the Group sessions?
*you will receive reminder texts of days, times or cancellations.
All Intermediate 6th-8th grade - Biweekly Thursdays 4:30pm @ 322 Lamar Avenue.
All Beginners 1st-5th grade -
Biweekly Thursdays 4:30pm @ 322 Lamar Avenue.
6. What are the Locations of Trainings? :
Because certain gyms only let me use it at a certain time-- we train in two different locations depending on the day:
- Mondays, Tuesdays & Sundays are at City Square (2515 Bohnam Street)
- Thursdays & Fridays are at First United Methodist Church (322 Lamar Avenue)
That way whenever we schedule sessions — you’ll know what days I use a certain gym since I do train at various locations because of the different availabilities. I’m praying for my own gym so that I don’t have to be everywhere but as for now, this is where I am ❤️ Thanks for your support and patience ! **or you can always double check to see where the sessions are 👍 Sometimes I’m way too busy to send manual text reminders. 😓
7. What about spring break, Christmas breaks, summer breaks, thanksgiving breaks ? *I take a week's vacation every 3 months: December, March, June, September**
Athletes get time off and parents do too! We will adjust according to schedules. Please send a schedule ahead of time so I'll know when you will be on break. There will be make up sessions. I believe in giving & taking breaks as well to prevent burnout :)
8. What if I have to drop out before the 12 month membership?
Loyal-Letez will have to pay $75/month to reserve their slots if they are wanting to come back so that it will not be taken by the next athlete that signs up before them.
