CoJMC Internship Award Application

The CoJMC will provide up to three in-person internship awards between the amount of $1,000-$1,500 for unpaid or underpaid internships for Summer 2026.

Students will be notified by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, if they have been selected to receive an award.

The award money will be applied into your UNL student account. If you have an outstanding balance at UNL the money will automatically deduct from your UNL bill. If you do not have a balance with UNL, then the award will be refunded to you as either a check or direct deposit to the account linked to your MyRed.

Kris Malkoski: Must be a delcared ADPR major in a low paying or unpaid internshipJ. Steve Davis Jump Start Fund: Must have an ADPR internship in a large metropolitan market outside Nebraska. This award can be given to any JMC majors, but the internship must be ADPR focused.Lynn and Dana Roper Sports Media and Communication Internship Fund: Must be a SPMC major for an uppaid or low paying internship in a top market (top market is determined by CoJMC scholarship committee)
