Please note that you must be available for training during the following times in order to participate in the program. There will be no exceptions. DO NOT apply unless you absolutely know you have the dates free.

Sunday June 12, 2022 9am-5pm

Wednesday June 15, 2022 6-8pm

Thursday June 16, 2022 6-8pm

Saturday June 18, 2022 9am-1pm

Please note that all applicants are subject to a background check. Those with criminal history may not be accepted to the program. Once your application is reviewed we will contact you to confirm your attendance at training. There is a limited number of volunteer slots available and all who apply may not make it into the 2022 class due to space constraints. There is a $50.00 non-refundable fee due via credit card prior to training. Should you be accepted to the 2022 class we will send you a link to pay via credit card. This will provide you with a STARS Hoodie and T-Shirt. Volunteers are committed to one scheduled shift per week of 2hrs. New volunteers must be up-to-date with the Covid-19 vaccination. Masks may be required during class and while volunteering at the shelter. Applications not completely filled out will not be processed.

All new volunteers will be cross-trained on how to work events.
