Thank you for participating in this survey: your contribution will be very important in directing our actions to encourage the international development of European SMEs (business prospection trips, collaborative projects, virtual events).
The EPAWI project (European Partnership for Auxiliary Wine Industry Innovation) aims to support enterprises that develop innovative solutions for the wine industry to expand their market even outside Europe.
The EPAWI activities have three phases:
1. Creating a map of regional priorities based on the challenges faced by wine and grape producers: a wide enquiry is ongoing, and the full results of this study will be exclusively made available to companies joining this initiative
2. Defining a common internationalization strategy together with the companies interested in expanding their export market, taking in account the needs of SMEs and start-ups
3. Create a stable organization (Wine Innovation Cluster Alliance) that fosters cooperation between technology developers, research centers and public institutions, beyond the EPAWI project end.
The main goals of WICA are:
a) To promote a resilient value chain of the grape and wine sector through global cluster and BSO cooperation
b) To face the challenges presented by grape and wine producers through cross-sectoral innovation and European auxiliary companies’ involvement
c) To promote and facilitate the international development of the auxiliary companies
With the present inquiry, we would like to understand how we can best allocate our resources to promote the international development of the auxiliary wine industry.
