For good and valuable consideration including the privilege of serving as a participant in the following City of Richardson event: Culture in the CORE.

The undersigned participant for and on behalf of the undersigned participant, the participant’s heirs, executors, and assigns (collectively referred to as the “Undersigned Participant”) does hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless the City of Richardson, Texas, its officers, agents, employees, contractors, third party representatives and invitees (collectively referred to as “Richardson”) from any and all claims, damages, causes of action of any kind whatsoever, statutory or otherwise, for personal injury, including death, property damage, lawsuits and judgments, including court costs, expenses and attorneys fees, and all other expenses resulting that the Undersigned Participant has, or might have, known, or unknown, now existing or that might arise hereafter, directly or indirectly, from the Undersigned Participant’s participation at the Event, from any direction or instruction by Richardson personnel during the Event and from any acts or omissions by any third parties.

The Undersigned Participant understands that the privilege of serving as a Participant at the Event, shall be under the direction and control of Richardson personnel and agrees to strictly comply with all Richardson and Event rules, directives and regulations written or otherwise, including any personal direction from Richardson personnel during any time the Undersigned Participant is serving as a Participant at the Event. The Undersigned Participant agrees to assume any and all risk associated with serving as a Participant at the Event. By the Participant’s signature below the Undersigned Participant acknowledges that the undersigned has read and understands the Event Rules for Participants and agrees to abide by them.

Additional Festival Rules:

• Participant must conduct themselves and dress in a manner appropriate to the event.
• Participants must be at the event, engaged in their official capacity, for the hours and/or duration that have been mutually agreed upon between the Participant’s organization and Event personnel.
• Participant acknowledges they are not a spokesperson for the Event and will direct any on-site media inquiries to Event personnel.
• Participant grants the City of Richardson the right to use his or her name and likeness obtained in connection with participating at the Event for any publicity and advertising purposes.
