We want to be up front about how we work so YOU can decide if this is a good fit for you. Please review the following policies carefully.
- Muddy's is a smoke-free workplace; smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. Staff may not work if smelling of smoke.
- Cell phones/smart watches must be stowed while on duty. Cell phone may not be placed on food prep surfaces.
- We do not accept tips.
- We are busiest during the holidays (Valentine's Day, Easter weekend, Mothers' Day weekend, Thanksgiving week, Christmas week). We close Thanksgiving weekend and the week-ish after Christmas for staff to enjoy the holiday, but everyone is needed right up until then-- time off is not granted during these peak times.
- All team members work most Saturdays. Everyone has Sundays & Mondays off (unless we are open on a Monday for a holiday-- this is VERY rare).
- Because our bakery is certified by the highest level of food preparation license (USDA), all jewelry must be removed before working in food prep areas. This includes gauges, piercings, etc.
