Broomfield Schools Photographic Competition Entry Form

Sponsored by the Slipper Mill Pond Preservation Association WWW.SMPPA.ORG.UK. NB Our Pond is Slipper Mill Pond which is to the EAST of Emsworth. It is NOT the Town Pond where the sailing clubs are.
THE 2026 COMPETITION IS NOW OPEN. THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS SATURDAY 11 APRIL 2026. Entries will not be accepted after this.
Before you send in your photos, ask yourself the following questions:
1. Are your photos high resolution / large file size (more than 500kb or 0.5mb)? IF YOUR PHOTO IS TOO SMALL IT MAY BE REJECTED ON THIS FORM.
2. Is your horizon level?
3. Is the subject of the photo in focus? eg if it's an animal or a bird, check that the eye is not blurred
4. Would your photo be more interesting if it was cropped?
5. Is the subject of the photo completely included or are bits cut off?
6. Is the background of the photo distracting from the subject matter?
7. Have you thought of a catchy title for your photo?
If you're happy with the above, you are ready to submit your photos!
