  • New Member Information and Agreement

    The Latimer Art Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the fine arts in a wide variety of mediums. We promote interaction among artists, professional training and support of young artists with educational scholarships. Our activities include scheduled meetings, speakers, demonstrations, Plein Air paint- outs and hosting exhibits of artwork throughout the year. To protect the future of Latimer Art Club, please read and sign the following waiver:

    INDEMNITY WAIVER. The Latimer Art Club, its members, and anyone else associated with the Latimer Art Club's organization and events, will not be held responsible for any/all known or unknown damages, injuries, losses, judgments, and/or claims from any causes suffered by any member, attendee. volunteer, participant, guest, or art work entered in an event, before. during or after an event. It is expressly agreed that participation in Latimer Art Club activities, including any transportation provided by a Club member, shall be undertaken at the undersigned's sole risk, and the Club shall not be liable for any injuries or any damage to the undersigned, or the property of the undersigned, or be subject toany claim, demand, injury or damages whatsoever, including, without limitations, those damages resulting from acts of active or passive negligence on the part of the Club, its officers or agents.

  • LAC Membership Application Member Responsibility-Loss and Damages. The undersigned releases and discharges for himself/herself and on behalf of his/her executors, administrators, heirs, assigns and successors from all such claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, or causes of action. The Club shall not be responsible or liable for articles damaged. lost, or stolen at any club function, or for the loss or damages to any property including but not limited to automobiles and the contents thereof. Indemnity and Hold Harmless. The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Latimer Art Club for any occurrences caused, in whole or in part, by the undersigned and/or his/her guest at an event or activity by the Latimer Art Club. An Incident/Accident Report will be provided to the member. and must be filled out and given to the Latimer Art Club President or Vice President within 15 days of occurrence of incident/accident.

    Photos. You, individually or in a group setting. accept that you may appear in an occasional group or individual photo, without your prior approval; and, acknowledge that photos may be used in future publications or advertising (primarily for Club-sponsored exhibits Therefore, you release The Latimer Art Club. its members, attendees, and host agencies of any liability. Artist's Page on LAC Website. The artist will have the option of submitting content and images for apersonal page. LAC is not responsible for misuse of personal contact information by outside users, or business transactions that may occur in promoting one's artwork on the site.

    Severable Provisions. In the event that any part of this agreement is held to be void or unenforceable, that portion is severed. and the remainder of this agreement shall remain in force and effect.

    By signing this waiver, I affirm that I have read and understand this agreement.

  • New Member's Initial Dues Payment. New members are required to pay the current Annual dues within 15 days of membership acceptance. Failure to pay initial dues, or future annual dues, will be grounds for immediate membership cancellation. Dues may be paid online at https://www.latimerartclub.com or with a check via U.S. Post Office, or in-person to the Treasurer at a Club meeting.
