Board of Directors Membership
Events Committee: Meets once per month beginning 8 months prior to next event date (May 2nd, 2025). Open seats available. Team members coordinate event logistics, participate in event promotion, solicit silent auction items and sponsorships, and evaluate results for future planning.
Outreach Team- No regular meetings for members. Open seats available. Team members attend community and networking events to promote Fresh Start Furnishings. They identify and connect with community partners to fulfill program needs such as collection drives, volunteer support, and financial donations. Serving in the showroom or on the transport team for a minimum of 2 shifts is required.
Fundraising & Development: Identifies new corporate sponsors, major donors, grants, and revenue generating opportunities. Oversees donor appreciation and informs Board of advocacy and fundraising opportunities.
