  • Trade careers are recognised as careers that which a person has gone through a vocational training process known as an apprenticeship for a period of 3 to 4 years which is paid for by the employer. Some well-known trades are Builders, Painters, Motor mechanics, Refrigeration, Aircraft mechanics, Watch makers, Goldsmith, Hairdressers, Butchers, Welders, Plumbers, Electricians, Maintenance fitters, Shipwrights (boat builders) Chef, Bakers, to name a few.
