• Honor Pathfinder Application

    McDonald Road Hawks Pathfinder Club
  • Submit application to club director by September 30. Deadline to complete project & submit essay: March 31.

  • To meet the qualifications for Honor Pathfinder, a Pathfinder must:

    • Be invested in the regular and the advanced Pathfinder class work for their grade level.
    • *Complete a Service for Others project (see below)
    • Complete at least two extra AY Honors during the Pathfinder year, outside of the club.
    • Be present and on time to 90% of club functions, including meetings, outings, etc. Excused absences are accepted for personal sickness, quarantine, or death in the family. Three tardies equals one absence.
    • Wear designated uniforms with all insignias properly sewn in place.
    • Maintain a clean and neat appearance.
    • Have a Christ-like attitude and conduct. Be courteous, kind, obedient, and helpful.
    • Have spiritual growth through daily personal devotions, prayer, and regular church attendance.
    • Participate with an enthusiastic, active, and cheerful attitude in all club activities.

    *An Honor Pathfinder must do a “Service for Others” project outside of regularly scheduled club time. This is in addition to the community service hours required for investiture. The project must be developed by the Pathfinder, consist of no less than 20 hours of planning and service, be centered on service for others and community, and be one that does not receive any type of compensation or payment.
