Terms and conditions - Rental Agreement & Policies : Please read the rental agreement in its entirety before placing an order for your yard card. By renting a yard card from Cheerful Greetings you agree to follow the terms & conditions 1. By agreeing to have Cheerful Greetings participate in your event, you agree that Cheerful Greetings is not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the set-up or removal of any rental. 2. By agreeing to have Cheerful Greetings participate in your event you are agreeing to allow us to post pictures of the display on all social media platforms and the website unless you request otherwise. Cheerful Greetings reserves the right to photograph our work, at the designated area and use them for advertising purposes. We will not tag you unless requested to do so. No addresses, license plates or personal info will be targeted. In the event they cannot be avoided they will be blurred. 3. Payment: Payment in full is due at the time of reservation of your yard card rental. All prices include: rental, delivery within 10 miles of Youngsville, set up and take down of customized yard card display. Distances further then 10 miles may be subjected to a fee. All payments are transmitted securely and are not stored by Cheerful Greetings. 4. Cancellations: In the event you need to cancel prior to the date of delivery, 2 options will be available. You may either reschedule for a different available date or receive a refund of 50% of the booking fee; however, cancelations made the day of scheduled delivery will not be considered for a refund. 5. Rush Options: Rush and same day orders will be accommodated, when possible, based on available inventory. Rush fees will apply. 6. Weather Conditions: We work extra hard to make sure we can set up your yard card. However, in the event of inclement weather we may not be able to. Delivery of your yard card display order may not be possible during times of hazardous / inclement weather conditions (lighting/thunderstorms, heavy rain, or high winds) that prevent set up and/or take down. In the event of prohibited delivery due to weather, we will attempt to reschedule on a date that is acceptable to both parties. If an agreeable, rescheduled date cannot be arranged, a refund will be considered. 7. Service Period: Your personal greeting will be displayed for a period of no less than 18-24 hours. You will be given a time frame of delivery/setup unless a specific time is requested. Pickup will usually be after dark the day of the rental or the next morning. 8. Refund policy: A 24-hour notice is required for a full refund. If inside the 24-hour window, you can receive a refund in the form of a credit to use for a future rental. However, we would appreciate as much notice as possible so we can rebook the date. No refunds will be given due to the customer giving us the wrong address. No refunds will be given due to the homeowner requesting us to remove the yard card display. No refunds will be given due to being denied access to a gated community. No refunds will be given due to any animals that prevent the yard card greeting from being set up. No refunds will be given for circumstances that prevent us from setting up the yard card greeting that is out of our control. 9. Delivery and set up: All Cheerful Greetings yard card set ups are meant to be pleasant and memorable surprises. Please remember to notify the home owner they will be receiving the greeting within 24 hours of delivery as the homeowner will need to prepare. Homeowners must turn off sprinkler systems for the duration of the yard greeting and make arrangements for outdoor pets. Displays will be facing the street unless otherwise requested. 10. If this is a gift to someone, for our safety within 24 hours of the reservation, please remember to notify the homeowner that they will be receiving the display. Please advise the homeowners to turn off their sprinkler system and to temporally suspend lawn services. 11. Property: All signs remain the property of Cheerful Greetings. Cheerful Greetings does not allow self-service set up and removal. Any damages, destruction, or tampering with the cards is prohibited. Please DO NOT allow anyone to play on/or around the display or attach anything to the signs. Please keep pets away from the yard card displays. We also ask that you do not remove our signs from your lawn for any reason. Should you need them picked up early, give us a shout out and we’ll be happy to take care of it. We ask that the yard cards not to be moved without consent from Cheerful Greetings owners. You are responsible for replacement of graphics, letters, or stakes at the full value for any damages to signs. Please ensure that you do not mow around or near our signs, grass clippings can stain. Please remember, you are liable and payment for any damages will be enforced. 12. Signage Policy: Cheerful Greetings encourages creativity and personal expression. However, we reserve the right to politely decline orders that may be offensive in nature or non-celebratory. Yard card displays will be facing the street unless otherwise requested. Cheerful Greetings respectfully reserves the right to decline a delivery area that we may feel to be unsafe for our signs or us personally. 13. By agreeing to have Cheerful Greetings participate in your event you are agreeing that Cheerful Greetings has the creative freedom to design your display. No two displays will look exactly the same. Inventory varies by date so book early to guarantee your color or theme requests. Cheerful Greetings does not use trademarked, licensed or copyrighted items and images such as Disney characters.
