This online learning pre-assessment allows you to determine your level of readiness for taking online courses.
You will be asked questions on topics about computer skills; how motivated, organized, and self-directed you are, and how you prefer to learn new information. The online learning pre-assessment is easy and informative. It takes about 10 – 15 minutes to complete. After completing the online pre-assessment one of the JMU advisors will contact you to go over your scores and provide you with helpful resources to help you succeed in online learning.
Note: Your scores on this assessment will not prevent you from being able to take online classes. This pre-assessment tool is being provided to help you understand your strengths and weaknesses so you can become a more successful online student. If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to speak with a counselor or an adviser.
