Weekend Islamic School (OBK)

About the Program:

Study of the Quran: In this weekly program students will focus on developing the skills and knowledge to read and memorize the sacred Quran. Memorization will focus on Juz’ ‘Amma (Part 30), essential surahs (chapters) & verses for every Muslim. After the completion of memorization, students will learn to read the Quran from beginning to end.

Islamic Studies: We aim to provide a comprehensive study of Islamic sciences that covers the essentials of faith (iman), and rulings of worship. life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), meanings of Quran, hadith (prophetic narrations), and Islamic teachings on character and manners (akhlaq and adab).

Schedule:
Session 1: Sat. & Sun. 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (FULL!)
Session 2: Sat. & Sun. 12:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m.

Instructors: The program is led and supervised by our imam, Abdullahi Jaranow. We have multiple qualified female and male teachers.

Requirements: Students must be at least 5 years of age and able to learn in a general classroom setting. A one-time registration fee of $35 is required per student.

Covid Guidelines:
1. Students are encouraged to wear masks during class.
3. Air filters and hand sanitizers will be available at the facility at all times.

Tuition Fees Breakdown
1 Child: $85/monthly
2 Children: $160/monthly
3 Children: $225/monthly
4 Children: $280/monthly
5 Children: $325/monthly

Tuition Payments are due by the 10th of each month.
